June issue recognizes versatile hedge trimmer as a “Best Buy”
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Apr. 20, 2012)---Every few years, Consumers Digest assigns editorial staff and contract specialists the task of reviewing scores of available handheld power products. Asked to identify the “Best Buy” in various categories, the magazine’s team has named Kawasaki’s KHDS600A the top model in the midrange price selection of gasoline hedge trimmers. This marks the second consecutive time Kawasaki product has earned the “Best Buy” in this category; the prior version of this model was also top-ranked.
This versatile hedge trimmer weighs-in at a light 11.5 pounds, yet offers all of the handling and cutting accuracy demanded by both lawn care professionals and homeowners.
According to the magazine, the KHDS600A is “easier to handle than is any other model that we evaluated.”
The bimonthly publication, available nationally on newsstands, accepts no advertising, assuring readership of maintaining neutrality with its product reviews.
Tiffany Young, Kawasaki’s marketing supervisor, said “the recognition validates our belief that we are providing products that are uniquely suited to the needs of both landscapers and homeowners.”
Consumers Digest pointed to Kawasaki’s Leading Edge Warranty in relation to consumer usage of the KHDS600A, saying “You would have to spend $130 more to get another gasoline-powered hedge trimmer that matches this model’s 5-year overall warranty and has its rotating handle, which means that you don’t have to change hand positions as you shear.”
The KHDS600A is available at Kawasaki handheld power products dealers nationally.
